Secondly, Stockport Motor Club has organised many successful rallies and is looking forward to our fourth return to Weeton Army Camp near Blackpool. It is our intention to run the best possible event for competitors, as we have done in previous years. We aim to run 12 stages covering approximately 50 miles on a mixture of quick and twisty roads all on a sealed surface, coupled with our quick stage turn rounds, giving everybody a good days motor sport.
2006 sees the event being part of the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship in association with Slick Tyres, ANWCC Ladies Rally Championship, ANWCC All Rounders Championship, Kent Cams ANCC Northern Stage Rally Championship and Tyres (South Shore) Ltd. SD34 M.S.G. Stage Rally Championship; previous history of this popular venue has proved that an early entry should be considered, as we expect this rally to become oversubscribed very quickly.
The timing schedule as always is very tight for us to get the maximum use of the stages and we request your full c-operation in helping to achieve this. Competitors should note in particular the regulations referring to attendance at Scrutineering. Scrutineering will be held ONLY on the evening of Saturday 1st April 2006 between 17:00 and 20:30.
