We are looking forward to our sixth return to Weeton Army Camp near Blackpool. It is our intention to run the best possible event for competitors.
We aim to run 12 stages covering approximately 50 miles on a mixture of quick and twisty roads all on a sealed surface, coupled with our quick stage turnarounds, giving everybody a good day's motor sport.
2008 once again sees the event being part of the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship, ANWCC Ladies Rally Championship, ANWCC All Rounders Championship, Tyres (South Shore) Ltd. SD34 M.S.G. Stage Rally Championship and for 2008 we also welcome the Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship. Previous history of this popular venue has proved that an early entry should be considered, as we expect this rally to become oversubscribed very quickly.
The timing schedule as always is very tight for us to get the maximum use of the stages and we request your full co-operation in helping to achieve this. Competitors should note in particular the regulations referring to attendance at Scrutineering. Scrutineering will be held ONLY on the evening of Saturday 29th March 2008 between 16:00 and 19:00.
